We are Eliana (age 19) and Mathias (age 17). Mathias was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 14 years ago. Our goal is to use what we have learned over the years of living with diabetes to help newly diagnosed kids and teens. About 15,000 children are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes every year. Our mission is to start by helping a fraction of these children understand what it means to have diabetes and how they can adjust so that they are able to lead normal lives. With years of experience come many useful tips about finding the right foods, diabetes equipment and accessories, and other helpful hints. We are always available to answer any questions so please feel free to email us. The Sweet Siblings believe in a positive outlook and that with adequate care, supplies, and most importantly, support, every diabetic can succeed!
